According to eyewitnesses, the victim, an unsuspecting city man, was mugged on his way to work, with two men approaching him, one wielding a gun and the other a dagger.
The thug with the gun struck the victim on the side of his head, demanding that he hand over his bag. Without hesitation, the victim complied, and the thief ransacked his pockets in a matter of seconds.
The entire incident lasted less than 10 seconds, leaving many to wonder how such a brazen crime could occur in broad daylight.
Responding to the incident, the DCI tweeted that detectives based at Kilimani had commenced investigations to bring the culprits to book.
