On Thursday morning, DCI Nyali detectives made a significant breakthrough in the fight against car theft and break-ins in Mombasa County, arresting nine suspects who have been operating in the area.
According to reports, the suspects were arrested during a stealth operation at Furaha Apartments Hse no. A08 in Nyali, Mombasa.
During the operation, the detectives found several rolls of bhang, a shisha pot, a packet of shisha, Ksh. 100,000 in one thousand denominations, and assorted mobile phones.
The suspects, aged between 21 and 32 years, have been placed in custody as further investigations continue.
The suspects are Imran Faud Mohamed (28), Ismael Fuad Mohamed (26), Kelvin Osebe (30), Omar Safari Sanje (29), James Otieno Ochieng (32), Nancy Ekasiva Aloo (29), Julie Saida Magdalene (22), Brenda Juma (21), and Hamoud Mohamed Hamisi (30).
