Published on June 25, 2020, Akothee's statement comes just a day after she cautioned netizens against killing celebrities online.
According to the Madam boss, Kenyans only celebrate celebrities once they die, and she has instructed her family on what to do should she die before them.
Akothee revealed that no-one should expect special treatment from her family in the name of being a supporter when they never cared when she was alive.
“A celebrity is celebrated more when dead than alive, sad,” she said in a long post.
She warned her fans not to come to her funeral expecting special services, saying, “You never paid for a VVIP nor showed up on my concerts, and when I am dead, now you want to be recognized as one of Akothee's supporters, idiot. Don't come.”
Akothee also instructed her family to view her body at Rakwaro Primary School if she dies before them, so her loyal fans can see her.
She emphasized that none of her exes will fight over her body, and that she won't be buried in Europe, but rather in a location that will allow her fans to eat and bring gifts, money, and presents.
Her statement is a scathing warning to fake celebrity supporters, who she believes only care about her when she's dead.
