On June 24, a 42-year-old man from Kakamega Town met a tragic end after allegedly overdosing on Viagra, a sex enhancement drug.

According to the deceased's widow, the man had not been intimate with her for over a year, sparking speculation about his motives for seeking the services of a 31-year-old woman from Siaya County.

The woman, identified as Ms. Anyango, had booked a room at Amazon Hotel in Kakamega Town with the deceased on Tuesday afternoon, June 23.

As revealed by Kakamega Central OCPD, David Kabena, the two ordered dinner at 3:45 pm, but only the woman ate.

Early on Wednesday, Ms. Anyango frantically stormed out of the room and informed the lodging manager that her partner had died after overdosing on sex enhancement drugs.

Police were called to the scene, and the deceased was taken to Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue, where a postmortem was conducted.

The autopsy revealed that the deceased succumbed to a heart attack believed to have been caused by a Viagra overdose.

Further investigations into the man's death are ongoing, with Kakamega Central OCPD, David Kabena, leading the probe.
