On June 24, 2020, Keroche Breweries found itself in a heated dispute with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) over the attachment of its bank accounts.

The move by KRA was in a bid to recover Ksh. 1.4 billion in taxes owed by the brewery.

However, Keroche Breweries has since taken steps to prevent the attachment of its accounts, citing a court order that temporarily halted the move.
