This archive report was first published on 24 June 2020.

Comedian Njugush's son, Tugi, has been missing out on exotic holidays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has disrupted international flights.

His mother, Celestine, recently shared a video of herself and Tugi in a car, with the young boy excitedly asking where they were going.

When Celestine posed the question, 'Tugi, where are we going?', her son replied with excitement, 'Dubaaaaaaiiiiii!'

Many Kenyans took to social media to plead with President Uhuru Kenyatta to lift the lockdown and curfews, even for a few hours, to allow Tugi to visit Dubai and bring peace of mind to his parents.
