On Thursday, June 25th, 2020, Safaricom customers will experience a disruption in M-PESA services as the company undertakes planned maintenance. The maintenance is scheduled to take place between 0000hrs and 0500hrs.
According to Safaricom, the maintenance is necessary to support the continued transformation of millions of lives in Kenya through M-PESA. The company regularly undertakes maintenance of its systems to ensure the continued growth and development of its services.
As Kenyans continue to rely heavily on M-PESA services, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, Safaricom has apologized for any inconvenience that may be caused by the planned maintenance. The company has assured its customers that the timing of the maintenance has been planned to result in the least inconvenience possible.
During the maintenance, all M-PESA services, including airtime purchase, will be temporarily unavailable. Safaricom appreciates its customers' continued support and understanding in this matter.
