On June 24th, 2020, Safaricom announced that its M-Pesa services would undergo a planned maintenance between 12am and 5am on Thursday, June 25th, 2020.
The maintenance is part of the telco's regular system updates to support the continued transformation of millions of lives in Kenya, as stated in a press release.
According to the statement, all M-Pesa services, including airtime purchase, will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
However, the telco has planned the maintenance to minimize inconvenience to its customers, apologizing for any disruption caused and thanking them for their continued support.
