Safaricom, Kenya's leading telecommunications company, has announced that M-PESA services will be unavailable on Thursday morning, June 25, 2020, from 12 am to 5 am.
The planned maintenance is part of regular system updates to support the continued growth and transformation of M-PESA, which has been connecting millions of Kenyans to new opportunities for over 13 years.
According to a statement from Safaricom, the maintenance will temporarily affect all M-PESA services, including airtime purchase, during the specified time period.
The company has apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and thanked customers for their continued support.
As part of the maintenance, Safaricom aims to minimize disruptions and ensure that customers experience the least inconvenience possible.
