Kenya's COVID-19 Cases Surpass 5,000 Mark

Published on June 24, 2020, Kenya's COVID-19 cases have surpassed the 5,000 mark following 254 new infections tested in the last 24 hours out of 4,859 samples tested.

The cumulative number of tests conducted so far is now 151,396, with the total case load in the country standing at 5,206.

According to the latest data, Nairobi has recorded 127 cases, followed by Mombasa with 36 cases, Migori with 29 cases, and Kajiado with 22 cases.

Other counties with reported cases include Kiambu (12), Busia (9), Uasin Gishu (5), Muranga (3), Machakos and Kilifi (2 cases each), and Nakuru, Siaya, Taita Taveta, Garissa, Isiolo, Kakamega, and Kisii (1 case each).
