On June 24, 2020, TV47, a media station owned by MKU founder Dr. Simon Gicharu, welcomed Professor Herman Manyora as their newest member.

Manyora, a senior lecturer and political analyst at the University of Nairobi, will be hosting a new political show on the station, alongside Abubakar Abdullahi.

TV47's move to revamp their station comes after the exit of former CEO Eugene Anangwe.

Manyora has authored several books, including 'Why Things Won't Work In Kenya', a collection of reflective essays.

He has also been a vocal analyst, often sparking national conversations and debates with his out-of-the-box analysis.

Manyora's no-holds-barred approach to politics has made him a household name, with many Kenyans following his opinions on social media.

One notable example of his analysis is when he advised Deputy President William Ruto to shelve his 2022 presidential bid and instead focus on capturing the seat in 2027.

Manyora is currently pursuing a PhD in the School of Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Nairobi.

His addition to TV47 is set to ignite political debates and grow the station's viewership across the country.
