Kenyan singer Habida has been open about her recent health scare after discovering a lump on her breast. In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, she shared her emotional journey, from the initial discovery to the relief of receiving negative test results.

According to Habida, she had been pondering the possibility of cancer for two weeks before undergoing a biopsy at Central Middlesex Hospital. She expressed her gratitude to the hospital staff, stating, 'Thank God for the very friendly staff because there are not many things that scare me but dang “I was scared”.'

Habida's father had previously battled cancer, and she drew parallels between his experience and her own, writing, 'Seeing my father go through cancer was terrible, it is a terrible disease! And here I am with a lump in my breast! Lump in the name of Jesus you are benign! #breastcancer #superwoman #scared.'

However, after waiting for almost a week, Habida finally received her test results, which came back negative. She shared her excitement, saying, 'I’ve got my result! And it’s a fantastic “negative” result for cancer! I have had moments of fear, moments of faith, crying moments at the thought of death because of my children and then moments of confidence that God can do all things!'

Habida went on to express her gratitude to her Almighty, stating, 'I realized that it’s only in moments of crisis do we prepare! I need God in all facets of my life! I need to prepare myself for trials in life because they WILL come.'

Her post has sparked a thought-provoking conversation about living life to the fullest and being prepared for trials.
