The Service Party (TSP) has been officially registered, marking its entry into the Kenyan political scene ahead of the 2022 elections.

The registration was confirmed by Acting Registrar of Political Parties, Anne Nderitu, who stated that the party met all the necessary requirements.

Founded by former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, the TSP has been associated with Ruto's URP party, sharing similar yellow colors and a slogan 'mbele iko sawa' used by Ruto in the past.

The party's unveiling took place at its newly opened headquarters in Riverside, with Kiunjuri at the helm.
