Atieno, who is also known as Andau, has been in the industry for 12 years and has appeared in over 10 films. Some of her notable works include 'Jaboya,' 'The Gods of the Rain,' 'Stubborn Daughter,' and 'Full Stop.'
She has also been involved in several collaborations, including a project with GPAY Africa and Cinemadamare Film Festival from Italy. The project brought together many Kenyan artists and their Italian counterparts, and they traveled to various counties, including Nairobi, Kisumu, Nyandarua, Makueni, and Mombasa, to create different films.

She has also expressed her admiration for Nigerian actress Patience Ozokwor, who has appeared in films such as 'Blood Sister,' 'Mothers in Law,' 'Chied Daddy,' 'Alice my first Lady,' and 'Marcus D Millionaire.'
Atieno has also thanked her mother, Rebecca Achieng, for her support in her acting career. She has also thanked the leaders of GPAY Africa, Samuel Oluoko and Amyn Khan, for organizing the project that brought together many Kenyan artists and their Italian counterparts.
