This archive report was first published on 24 June 2020.

On June 24, 2020, King Kaka's YouTube channel was live streaming a Space X and NASA event, sparking speculation about his intentions.

However, it was later revealed that his account had been hacked, with all his songs either deleted or hidden by the hackers.

King Kaka is not the first Kenyan to fall prey to these hackers. Khaligraph's account was also taken over earlier, but he was able to regain control of it.

A YouTube scam is currently circulating, where hackers take control of a channel and ask people to send them bitcoin, promising to return twice as much.

The scammers use a recent interview of Space X CEO Elon Musk to lure in victims and keep them 'entertained' while they swindle them.
