On June 24, 2020, Zuchu, a rising star in the East African music scene, made history by becoming the first female artiste to receive the YouTube Silver Plaque within two months of joining the platform.
She achieved this milestone after surpassing the 100K subscribers mark, a feat she accomplished in just one week after being signed by Diamond Platnumz, the CEO of Wasafi Records.
With her rapid rise to fame, Zuchu has become a household name in Tanzania and East Africa, and her channel has now surpassed 200K subscribers.
Upon receiving her plaque, Zuchu took to social media to express her gratitude to her fans and management at WCB Records.
