June 24, 2020, Othuol Othuol, a comedian from Churchill Show, was rushed to hospital after fainting at his home in Kitengela.

He was later transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) where he spent over 24 hours waiting to be attended to due to a long queue.

According to his friends, Othuol was taken to KNH on June 24, 2020, after being rushed from a nearby hospital where he had been taken after fainting at his home.

His current health status is worrying, with his condition expected to take up to seven months to recover from after contracting Tuberculosis (TB).

As one of the comedians who received KSh 10,000 from the government to protect him from the COVID-19 pandemic, Othuol had taken a break from the entertainment industry to focus on his health but had returned to work soon after recovering.

His manager, Ken Waudo, expressed his disappointment with the hospital's slow response, calling for public support to help Othuol with his medical bills.

However, Othuol was later admitted to KNH after a social media campaign was launched to raise funds for his medical expenses.
