Ijeoma Kola, a Nigerian-born blogger and entrepreneur, has made a name for herself in the online world with her infectious smile and wealth of knowledge. Born in Nigeria and raised in the United States, Ijeoma holds a PhD in sociomedical sciences and has a background in public health history.
Her dissertation focused on the rise of asthma in black urban America, showcasing her expertise in the field. However, Ijeoma's passion extends beyond academia, and she has built a significant online following through her blog and YouTube channel.
On her platforms, Ijeoma shares tips and advice on fashion, hair, and motherhood, as well as business and entrepreneurship. She also highlights Black-owned businesses through her #IKBuysBlack hashtag, demonstrating her commitment to supporting the community.
Personally, Ijeoma is married to Jonathan Kola, a Kenyan, and they have a son. The couple recently relocated to Nairobi from the US, bringing their unique blend of Nigerian and American culture to the city.
We celebrate Ijeoma today for her dedication to empowering women and promoting Black-owned businesses. Her inspiring story serves as a reminder that with hard work and determination, anyone can achieve their goals.
