Published on June 24, 2020, Akothee has sparked a heated debate on social media with her recent warning to fellow celebrities.
The mother of five took to her social media to express her frustration towards celebrities who never help their fellow artists, yet expect special treatment when they pass away.
'A celebrity is celebrated more when dead than alive,' Akothee wrote. 'Let nobody come to my funeral expecting special services.'
She went on to warn that her body will be viewed at Rakwaro Primary School, where her loyal fans can pay their last respects, and that none of her exes will fight over her body.
Akothee also stated that she will not be buried in Europe, but rather in Rakwaro, and that anyone who wants to attend her funeral should bring their own packed lunch.
She further added that her family is not made up of celebrities and are not the richest female artist, and that they should not be expected to provide special services during her burial.
'My family are not celebrities, they are not the richest female Artist Akothee,' she wrote. 'Akothee has died with the show, come, mourn, bring gifts, money and presents, and leave in peace.'
