On July 28, Mary Trump will release her highly anticipated memoir, 'Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man', according to Simon & Schuster.
However, Donald Trump's younger brother, Robert S. Trump, has taken steps to prevent the book's publication, alleging that Mary Trump is violating a nondisclosure agreement related to the settlement of their grandfather Fred Trump's estate.
Robert S. Trump's move is seen as an attempt to silence his niece, who has written a scathing memoir that details the dark history of the Trump family.
According to Simon & Schuster, the 240-page book will shine a light on the traumatic events Mary Trump witnessed as a child while spending time at her grandparents' house in Queens, where her uncle and his four siblings grew up.
"Her attempt to sensationalize and mischaracterize our family relationship after all of these years for her own financial gain is both a travesty and injustice to the memory of... our beloved parents," Robert S. Trump said in a statement.
"I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my wonderful brother, the president, and feel that Mary's actions are truly a disgrace," he added.
