On June 20, 2020, a Kenyan woman lost her life in a car accident near Bartram Park Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida.
A 911 call was made at 2:42am, with the caller reporting that their car had driven into a ditch and was filling with water.
Police used GPS to locate the vehicle near the 6100 block of Eclipse Circle in the Summerlin Condominium complex.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) responded to the scene and managed to remove the driver from the submerged vehicle.
Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to their injuries and was taken to Baptist South for treatment.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) is currently investigating the incident.
