June 22, 2020 - Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala scored early goals to lead their team to a 2-0 win over Bologna on Monday, moving them four points clear of Lazio at the top of the Serie A table.
The win marked a rebound for Juventus, who had lost the Italian Cup final to Napoli in a penalty shootout after Ronaldo missed a penalty in the semi-final against AC Milan.
On Monday, Ronaldo made no mistake from the penalty spot, converting a spot-kick earned by Matthijs de Ligt after 23 minutes for his 26th goal for the Turin giants in all competitions this season.
Paulo Dybala curled in the second goal on 36 minutes, off a Federico Bernardeschi back-heel flick, as Juventus, chasing a ninth consecutive Scudetto, opened up a four-point lead on second-placed Lazio.
Meanwhile, AC Milan shrugged off the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to sweep past Lecce 4-1, keeping their bid for European football next season alive.
Inter Milan, in third, are nine points adrift of Juventus, and next host Sassuolo.
