The COVID-19 pandemic led to a three-month closure of Kenya's Embassy in France, but the mission has now reopened its doors to the public.

On June 23, 2020, the embassy announced the resumption of consular services, with Kenya's Ambassador to France, Prof. Judy Wakhungu, stating that the decision was made possible by the French government's declaration of Paris as a Green Zone.

According to the embassy's statement, consular services will be available on an appointment basis, with applicants required to wear face masks when visiting the embassy.

However, visa services remain suspended, and the embassy has issued specific timelines for the application and collection of passports.

Passport applications can be submitted between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, while passport collections will take place between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
