102 patients have since been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,782.
Dr. Mwangangi noted that containment measures have reduced cases as people are more conscious of their health. She also highlighted a decline in other infectious diseases and a decrease in vices such as domestic violence.
According to Dr. Mwangangi, Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (SRHR) needs must be prioritized, particularly over reported cases of teenage pregnancy. She noted that teenage motherhood is catastrophic and disempowering, and that one pregnancy is a pregnancy too many.
Dr. Mwangangi also emphasized the importance of prioritizing SRHR needs, particularly in light of reported cases of teenage pregnancy. She noted that the current data from the study highlighted is inaccurate, especially when looking at antenatal data.
