Machakos county first lady, Lilian Nganga, celebrated her 35th birthday in a remarkable way - by running 35 kilometers on June 22nd, 2020.
According to Lilian, she had set a goal three months ago to cover at least 35 kilometers on her birthday, a feat she had never achieved before.
She revealed that her longest run prior to this achievement was 21 kilometers, and to reach her new goal, she had to undergo a different training program.
As she marked her milestone, Lilian expressed her gratitude to her husband, Governor Alfred Mutua, for his constant support and encouragement.
She wrote on social media, 'A big thank you to Alfred for EVERYTHING and your constant support. You sure did make my run easier.'
Lilian's achievement is a testament to her determination and hard work, and it's a great inspiration to many.
