June 23, 2020, marked a day of intrigue for Kenyans as ODM leader Raila Odinga publicly announced his COVID-19 test results, revealing a negative outcome.
However, the former Prime Minister's decision to share his test results has raised more questions than answers, particularly regarding his subsequent travel plans.
According to Tanga Tanga blogger Dennis Itumbi, Raila's insistence on obtaining a COVID-19 certificate was likely a ruse to facilitate international travel, which has been restricted in many countries due to the pandemic.
Itumbi claims that Raila left the country over the weekend for Abu Dhabi on a chartered flight, accompanied by his daughter, a neurosurgeon, one of his aides, and a bodyguard.
The blogger further alleges that the travel manifest showed all passengers had their COVID-19 certificates, fueling speculation about Raila's true intentions.
As the public remains in the dark about Raila's whereabouts, ODM and Capitol Hill have yet to issue any statements to dispute Itumbi's claims.
Adding to the mystery, Raila hinted on his Facebook account that he was in Congo for a conference on the Grand Inga Dam, but the video he shared revealed a virtual conference, leaving many to wonder if he was addressing it from Abu Dhabi, Kenya, or Congo.
The rumors surrounding Raila's health have also sparked concern, with some speculating that he may be sick and that his alleged travel with a doctor was a precautionary measure.
As the story unfolds, one question remains paramount: where is ODM leader Raila Odinga?
