On June 21, 2020, Juventus secured a crucial 2-0 win over Bologna in Serie A, maintaining their lead at the top of the table.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala were the scorers for the Bianconeri, finding the back of the net in the first half.
The match got off to a slow start, with Ronaldo having a shot saved from outside the box in the early stages. However, he continued to pull the strings and create chances for his teammates.
One such chance came in the 22nd minute when Stefano Denswil pulled down Matthijs de Ligt in the box, resulting in a Juve penalty. Ronaldo dispatched it cleanly, giving the Biaconeri a deserved lead in the 23rd minute.
The lead was doubled in the 36th minute when Federico Bernardeschi made a brilliant back-heel pass to Dybala, who delivered a trademark finish with his left foot.
Wojciech Szczesny had little to do in the second half as Juve comfortably held onto their 2-0 lead.
Despite having several chances to extend their lead, Ronaldo and Bernardeschi were unable to find the back of the net.
The match ended 2-0 in favour of Juventus, extending their lead at the top of the table to four points.
