Comedian and radio presenter Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, has been making headlines after his ouster from Mediamax Network Limited on Sunday night.

According to Jalang'o, he resigned from the media house due to a disagreement on the terms of employment with the Human Resource manager.

However, Jalang'o's claims were disputed by the management, who stated that he was among the journalists fired during the retrenchment exercise.

Speaking on Tuesday, Jalang'o boasted that he has already received six lucrative job offers barely 24 hours after he left the media house.

Despite the job offers, Jalang'o has decided to take a step back and focus on his latest projects, including his YouTube page 'Bonga na Jalas'.

He also plans to drive his company, Arena Media, to further success.

"I have received calls from six radio stations who want to hire my services. However, I will take a step back and see how progress develops. Right now I am focused on Arena Media and I am looking forward to driving it to further success. I also have my youTube channel which is growing. Digital is the next move and therein lies an opportunity to generate income, a lot of money," Jalang'o said.

Meanwhile, the Kenya Union of Journalists (KUJ) has faulted Mediamax Network Ltd CEO Ken Ngaruya for ordering the firing of over 100 employees at night through SMS's.

The union has vowed to take legal action against the company, stating that the move was a contravention of the law and unfair best practices.
