Published on June 23, 2020, Ringtone's recent post has left many tongues wagging in the Kenyan gospel music industry.
Ringtone has come out to strongly suggest that Bahati and singer Masterpiece date fellow men, citing Masterpiece's recent appearance in full makeup and a dress as evidence.
According to Ringtone, the 'gay character' was started by Bahati, and now it appears to have affected a few gospel artists who can't help but step out looking like drag queens.
Ringtone went on to throw shade at Masterpiece, saying, 'THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A MALE GOSPEL ARTIST FROM KENYA CALLED MASTERPIECE.' He also accused Bahati of being gay and dating Masterpiece, saying, 'THIS GAY CHARACTER WAS STARTED BY BAHATI. BOTH ARE GAY AND STILL CALL EACH THEMSELVES GOSPEL SINGERS AND I AM TOLD TO SHUT UP.'
While we cannot confirm the accuracy of Ringtone's accusations, his post has sparked a heated debate in the Kenyan gospel music industry.
