On June 22, 2020, US President Donald Trump's campaign staff faced another Covid-19 challenge, as two more members of the advance team tested positive for the virus.
The two staffers, who attended the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, were wearing masks throughout the event, according to campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh.
"Upon the positive tests, the campaign immediately activated established quarantine and contact tracing protocols," Murtaugh said.
Just hours before the rally, the campaign announced that six members of the advance team in Tulsa had tested positive for Covid-19.
Despite concerns from health authorities, Trump went ahead with the rally, his first since the pandemic began, which raised fears of further virus spread.
