On June 22, Manchester City showcased their superiority over Burnley in a one-sided match, winning 5-0.

Phil Foden opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a spectacular low drive from outside the area.

Just 22 minutes later, Riyad Mahrez doubled the lead with a low drive into the net, and he added another goal from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.

On resumption, David Silva scored from close range, and Foden completed the rout with a sensational strike 12 minutes later.

City's victory, which saw them score 5 goals, reduced Liverpool's lead to 20 points, although the Reds remain unassailable with just 8 games left to play.
