June 22, 2020 - In a shocking move, popular radio presenter Felix Oduor, known as Jalang'o, has left Milele FM, where he hosted a breakfast show with Alex Mwakideu for the past two years.

According to Jalang'o, he had a meeting with the Human Resource Manager at Mediamax, Milele FM's parent company, but the two parties failed to reach an agreement.

Speaking on his social media page, Jalang'o revealed that he was waiting for further communication from the HR but decided not to report to work after the meeting.

He expressed gratitude to his fans and everyone who supported him, stating that he won't be reporting to work in the coming days.

“Unfortunately, we didn’t agree. So just like that I won’t be at work tomorrow or any other day. I want to thank everyone who supported me and every fan who was with us to the point that we became the most popular no 1 radio station in the country,” Jalang'o revealed.

It's worth noting that Jalang'o's departure comes after reports emerged that Mediamax had fired all its employees, sparing only two.
