June 22, 2020 - OPPO, a leading global smartphone brand, has joined forces with Jumia, the largest local online retailer in Kenya, to celebrate the latter's 8th anniversary.
As part of the partnership, OPPO will make its latest devices available on Jumia's e-commerce platforms, starting with the OPPO A52, which will be on preorder from June 22nd to June 28th and will start selling on Jumia from June 29th.
The OPPO A52 will be priced at Ksh 24,999 and will be exclusively available on Jumia. The device features a 6.5-inch FullHD+ display, a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor.
OPPO will also offer bundles and promotions during Jumia's 8th anniversary celebration, including a special offer where consumers who buy OPPO devices can get the W31 earbuds at an additional cost of only Ksh 3,000.
OPPO has been actively expanding its smartphone portfolio in recent months, with the launch of the premium OPPO Reno 3 in April and the OPPO A92 in the Kenyan market earlier this year.
The partnership between OPPO and Jumia is expected to provide consumers with a range of devices at favorable prices, making it easier for them to experience the latest technology.
