Covid-19 Updates Leave Kenyans Anxious and Stressed

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread in Kenya, a recent poll by Infotrak has revealed that the majority of Kenyans are finding the Ministry of Health's updates on the disease alarming and stressful.

According to the poll, released on Sunday, 78% of respondents found the news on the pandemic stressful, while 48% found it confusing, and 46% described it as complicated.

Furthermore, the poll showed that fewer Kenyans were closely following Covid-19 updates in June compared to April, with 81% feeling anxious and stressed about the virus, 68% feeling confused, and 63% feeling confined and trapped.

Additionally, 61% of those sampled felt lonely in this crisis, while 52% felt helpless.

It is worth noting that the poll was released on June 21, 2020.
