COVID-19 Cases Rise in Kenya: 59 New Infections Confirmed

Kenya's Ministry of Health has announced a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, with 59 new infections confirmed on June 22, 2020.

According to Mercy Mwangangi, the Chief Administrative Secretary of the Ministry of Health, 73 more patients have recovered from the virus and have been discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases has now reached 4,797, while the number of recoveries stands at 1,680.

Unfortunately, the country has also reported 125 deaths due to the virus.

These updates come as the government continues to monitor the spread of the virus and implement measures to contain its spread.
