Published on June 22, 2020, Kenya's Coronavirus cases rose to 4,797 with 59 individuals testing positive from 2,354 samples in 24 hours.

Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi announced during the daily Covid-19 briefing at Afya House that 73 patients were discharged after recovering from the virus.

Notably, all the 59 new cases were identified as Kenyan nationals.
