The Ministry of Health has urged Kenyans to adhere to guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus, particularly at the borders, where there have been long queues of truckers waiting to be tested for Covid-19 before proceeding to other countries.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi noted that many truckers are still at the borders, especially at Busia, highlighting the need for caution in preventing the spread of the virus.
Director of Health, Dr. Patrick Amoth, emphasized the importance of careful consideration in implementing home-based care, stating, 'We don't want to make mistakes.'
