On a busy Saturday afternoon in Githurai, a hawker's stock was knocked down by a motorcycle, leaving him in need of prompt assistance. It was then that Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura, who was in the area, stepped in to lend a helping hand.

According to Senator Mwaura, he had come to the area to help a homeless person when he bumped into the hawker in need. He explained that he had just finished helping two other homeless individuals, a shoeshiner and a hawker, who were struggling to make ends meet.

"The incident happened in Githurai. I had just come from helping two homeless people boost their businesses. One was a shoeshiner with no stock and the other was a hawker without a cart," Senator Mwaura stated.

With the help of other young men, Senator Mwaura collected the oranges that had been spread across the busy road and returned them to the vendor's wheelbarrow. He was seen wearing a face mask while picking the fruits, emphasizing the importance of taking care of everyone, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We need to care for everybody and you know this era of Corona not many people have enough to go by," Senator Mwaura told Kenyans.co.ke in an interview.

Senator Mwaura's kind gesture impressed many Kenyans online, who praised him for being a true representative of the people. His actions served as a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there are still good people who care.
