Kenyan social media users have shared their worst experiences with ex-lovers, revealing shocking tales of deception and heartbreak.
Some confessed to spending large sums of money on their partners, only to be dumped at the last minute.
Here are some of their stories:
Caroline Kinuthia, for instance, spent KES 10,000 on her ex's birthday, only to be left high and dry.
She recalled how her ex didn't show up for their planned weekend together, and instead, posted a photo of himself with another woman on Facebook, captioning it 'I love you more than that way, babe...saaaaaaaaitan! Machooooos.'
Another user, Irene Mutevu, shared a harrowing experience of being cheated on by her ex, who brought other women to their home while she was away.
Senje Nekesa, meanwhile, recounted how her ex lied to her about going to school, only to be seen on Facebook with another woman, captioning it 'finally at home with my one and only.'
She also revealed how her ex's father-in-law was involved in the deception, and how she had to pretend to be okay when her ex's mistress came to visit.
Other users shared similar stories of being lied to and deceived by their ex-lovers, with some even sharing photos and screenshots of their exes' infidelity.
