June 22, 2020, marked the end of an era in the world of professional wrestling as WWE legend The Undertaker announced his retirement from the ring.
With a career spanning over three decades, The Undertaker, 55, has left an indelible mark on the sport, earning his place as one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time.
His decision to retire comes as no surprise, given his recent publicized differences with WWE owner Vince McMahon, a relationship that has been a cornerstone of his career since the 1990s.
During the final episode of his documentary, 'The Last Ride,' The Undertaker confirmed his retirement, stating that he has 'nothing left to accomplish' in the ring.
However, in a hint at a possible future comeback, he revealed that he would consider returning to the WWE if Vince McMahon 'felt the pinch' and needed him back.
"If there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there was it. If Vince was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time would only tell there," The Undertaker said in an interview with The Sun.
"In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out The Undertaker. I would consider it. [But] at this point in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring," he added.
