On June 22, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta chaired the Jubilee Coalition National Assembly Parliamentary Group meeting at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, in his role as the Coalition's Party Leader.
Attending the meeting were Deputy President Dr. William Ruto, Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, and a total of 174 Jubilee Coalition Members of the National Assembly.
During the meeting, the PG made key changes to the Coalition's leadership, including the appointment of Hon. Amos Kimunya as the new National Assembly Leader of Government Business and Hon. Adan Keynan as the new Secretary of the Jubilee Coalition National Assembly PG.
President Kenyatta emphasized the importance of the Coalition's development agenda and advised the legislators to focus on it, rather than engaging in divisive politics.
He also reminded the legislators that the Coalition, through the new Leader of Government Business and Majority Chief Whip, would communicate changes in the composition of House Committees to the Speaker of the National Assembly by Thursday, June 25, 2020.
