On June 22, 2020, a significant shift in leadership occurred within the Jubilee Party in Kenya.

During a Jubilee Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya was announced as the new National Assembly majority leader, replacing Garissa Township MP Aden Duale.

Additionally, Eldas MP Adan Keynan was elected as the new Jubilee PG secretary.

The meeting was attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is the leader of the Jubilee Party.
