On Monday, June 22, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta attended a Parliamentary Group meeting at the KICC, where he shared his latest Covid-19 test results with Jubilee Coalition MPs.

According to sources, President Kenyatta arrived a few minutes before 10am for the meeting, which had been scheduled for 9am.

At the start of the meeting, President Kenyatta revealed that he had received his latest Covid-19 results, which showed he had tested negative for the disease.

He emphasized the importance of observing government safety guidelines on Covid-19 and urged the MPs to be cautious.

The meeting was summoned on Sunday afternoon, where President Kenyatta was expected to make further changes in the party's parliamentary leadership, including decisions on chairmanship positions in committees.

President Kenyatta's allies in the National Assembly have been critical of National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, with some collecting signatures to ask President Kenyatta to let him go.
