Published on June 22, 2020, Kenyan gospel singer Betty Bayo sent a heartfelt Father’s Day message to her former husband, Pastor Victor Kanyari.
Bayo, who divorced Kanyari in 2015, described him as a good father but a bad husband in a lengthy Facebook post.
She expressed gratitude for his co-parenting skills, saying her children would rather have him as a father than none.
Bayo also praised Kanyari for not making her life miserable after their divorce, unlike many men who would stalk or harass their ex-partners.
However, she noted that Kanyari's past actions, including allegedly extorting money from Kenyans through fake miracles, were a major reason for their divorce.
