Manchester United's hopes of retaining their prized goalkeeper Dean Henderson are under threat, with Chelsea poised to make a £50m bid for the 23-year-old.
According to reports, Chelsea have opened talks with United over a potential transfer, with the London club willing to offer Henderson regular first-team football.
Henderson has impressed on loan at Sheffield United this season, jointly leading the Golden Glove race with 11 Premier League clean sheets.
However, United have opened talks over a new deal for Henderson, who wants to stake his claim to be England's number one for next summer's postponed Euro finals.
Chelsea's interest in Henderson comes as doubts persist over Kepa Arrizabalaga's form, with the Spanish goalkeeper reportedly at odds with manager Frank Lampard.
United are also under pressure from Sheffield United and Wolves, who are both chasing a place in the Champions League next season.
Whether Henderson extends his United deal or is tempted by a move to Chelsea, it looks like a big pay rise is on the way for the keeper.
