Comedian D.L. Hughley, known for his roles in 'The D.L. Hughley Show,' 'The Hughleys,' and 'Soul Plane,' has tested positive for coronavirus after collapsing on stage during a show in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to his publicist, Yvette Shearer, Hughley was suffering from exhaustion after working and traveling during the week.
On June 19, 2020, Hughley was taken to Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital after collapsing on stage. He underwent a battery of tests, which revealed a positive diagnosis for coronavirus.
Hughley, 57, shared his experience on Instagram, stating that he was asymptomatic and did not exhibit any flu-like symptoms, including shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, cough, or low-grade fever.
He expressed gratitude for the prayers and well wishes from his fans and stated that he would be quarantining for two weeks after leaving the hospital.
Hughley's credits include 'The D.L. Hughley Show,' 'The Hughleys,' 'Soul Plane,' and 'The Comedy Get Down.'
