As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect businesses, Sarova Hotels has found a way to counter its losses. The hotel chain has repurposed 80 rooms at its Sarova Panafric establishment in Nairobi to offer private working spaces for day and night rentals.
According to Managing Director Jimi Kariuki, the rooms are available for individual business executives and companies to use as private office spaces. 'With the new normal of working from home and social distancing, we saw an opportunity to repurpose the guest rooms to support market need where business executives and companies can book rooms in the hotel to use as a private workspace for the day or longer,' said Kariuki.
The rooms range from standard to executive, with prices starting at Sh7,500 for a standard room from 8am to 7pm. Overnight stays can be extended by paying an additional Sh12,000. Executive rooms cost Sh19,500 from 8am to 7pm, with an overnight stay costing Sh25,000.
Guests can enjoy room service and wi-fi, among other services, making the hotel a convenient option for those looking for a private workspace.
