Michelle Wie, a five-time LPGA winner, has taken a break from golf to focus on her new role as a mother. On June 20, 2020, she welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Makenna Kamalei Yoona West.
Wie, who married her husband Jonnie West in August 2020, announced her pregnancy in January 2020. Jonnie West is the son of NBA legend Jerry West and an executive for the Golden State Warriors.
Wie, who hasn't competed on tour since the 2019 Women's PGA Championship, expressed her joy at meeting her daughter on Instagram, saying, "Kenna baby, I have waited my entire life to meet you."
