On June 21, 2020, Jubilee party vice-chair David Murathe issued a warning to members planning to skip the party's scheduled Parliamentary Group meeting on Monday, June 22.
According to Murathe, disciplinary action will be taken against those who fail to attend the meeting.
"In recent times, we have witnessed a lot of disloyalty, insubordination, impunity, disobedience, and direct insults to our party leader. This must come to an end," Murathe said via his Facebook page.
The meeting, announced by Jubilee's leadership on Saturday, has already sparked paranoia among members allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will hold the meeting at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre on Monday, June 22, at 9 am, as per the party's official statement.
