Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has taken to social media to celebrate his late father on Father's Day, June 21, 2020.
Although his dad, Gideon Kioko Mbuvi Kivanguli, passed away a few years ago, Sonko still holds the memories they had.
He dedicated the special day to his late father, saying, 'I dedicate this special day to my late Father GIDEON Kioko Mbuvi Kivanguli, whenever I was stranded he was there for me to help me out.'
He also prayed for Kenyans, saying, 'Oh Lord I also come to you as our overall Father. Father to all the world. Father to the fatherless. Grant our nation peace and love.'
Adding, 'Scatter all the cartels and our enemies in different directions for you are our only Father I am relying upon to win this war.'
